Lifestyle Support is a flexible NDIS-funded support designed to help you shape daily life around interests, friendships, and growth—so that your weeks are filled with purpose, connection, and things that matter. Whether it’s exploring music, art, sports, cooking, tech, or fitness; building new routines; or connecting to your community, support is always customized and participant-driven.

With Lifestyle Support, you don’t just get “care”—you get empowerment, encouragement, and a partner on your journey to independence and happiness. All ages, all abilities—U Matter Care creates space for you to thrive!

A Day in Lifestyle Support
How does it work day-to-day?
Every participant’s week is unique, but here are examples of what we do:
  • Attend a painting workshop or try pottery with friends
  • Go shopping for ingredients, then cook a new recipe together
  • Join a book club or movie night, share your opinions and laughter
  • Take part in group fitness, swimming, or dance classes
  • Explore local museums, nature walks, or live music events

Eligibility: Any NDIS participant seeking greater community connection, personal growth, or meaningful use of their time.

Delivery: 100% participant-driven, as group or individual support—in your home, online, or in the community. Our workers are trained for cultural sensitivity, positive behaviour, and supporting people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Flexible schedule: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends
  • Mix of group and one-on-one settings
  • Customization for physical health, mental health, or personal passions

Yes—Support Coordination helps you plan and manage NDIS supports, while Lifestyle Support is practical, hands-on help in your daily life, community, and wellness goals.
Can I use Lifestyle Support for evening or weekend activities?
Absolutely! Support can be scheduled for nights, weekends, public holidays, or whenever your favourite events and programs are running.
What if I am shy or have social anxiety?
You are not alone. Our mentors are gentle, understanding, and trained in trauma-informed and positive behaviour approaches. We start small, in safe settings, and progress at your pace.
Is Lifestyle Support NDIS funded?
Yes—services are funded under “Core Supports - Assistance with Social and Community Participation.” Your NDIS plan must include this support category.
Can I do activities with my friends or family?
Absolutely—many participants do activities or outings together, or invite family/carers to join sessions.
